DISCLAIMER RELATED TO YOUR OHV TRAININGT CLASS ATTENDANCE
Each student enrolled in a class, private, or semi-private lesson offered by OHV TrainingT is required to sign the following disclaimer before he/she can receive instruction. Classes and lessons are offered under the auspices of the Forest Education Assembly (F.E.A.) and are taught only by Bill Uhl and other instructors authorized by OHV TrainingT and the Forest Education Assembly. By signing this disclaimer, each student agrees with the following statements.
_________________________________________________________
By their nature, off-highway vehicles and the activities in OHV TrainingT are inherently dangerous. Riders participate in school activities at their own risk. Although the school and its instructors will take extra efforts to ensure student safety, It is the obligation of each rider to accept full responsibility for his/her actions and to refrain from any and all actions that might endanger their own body or personal property or damage other participants or their property. All students must recognize that they are attending the school by personal choice. They are participating in activities by their own volition.
Potential riders should be aware that they will be attempting to learn new skills and are challenging themselves to improve their existing abilities. Instructors will share riding techniques their experience has proven to work for them. Because not every student will have the ability to adopt each technique into his/her personal riding style, students must assume full responsibility for their actions and hold the school and its instructors harmless for any and all damage that may result from participation in school activities. (This refers to personal property damage, personal injury, or harm caused to another participant, the personal property of others, and damage to rented equipment.)
If, at any time, a student is uncomfortable with or incapable of implementing any activity or idea presented by an instructor, it is the students' responsibility to inform the instructor and exclude him- or herself from that activity. (The purpose of this is to guard against potential injury, damage, or bodily harm.)
If students feel they need to be covered by insurance to cover any potential property damage and/or bodily harm to themselves or others, it is their responsibility to obtain such insurance before arriving at the school.
